What's new since 0.1.3 :¶
The contact list has been refactored to improve performance and source code readability.
Some fixes :
- Trouble with vibration
- Timestamps during chat
- Improve menu option (deconnection, change status ...)

We are working on Jingle implementation, a beta will soon be released, we need to improve performance and carry out more tests.
We are also working on a better integration with the Android platform by using the Account API. This will add the possibility to use multiple accounts and see your Beem contacts in the phone Contacts application.
It's always a pleasure to read your feedbacks, even if they are bad, it helps us to understand and solve the problems.

Beem 0.1.2 is released

We are happy to announce you that we have released the 0.1.2 version.
In major change, we have switched from our own lib smack patch-set to asmack .
For the user, it introduce the DNS SRV feature.
For us, an Android build environment for smack and a nice set of patches.

There is a new ant task in the build.xml, it can generate the javadoc of the source code.
I took the opportunity to integrate it on the bug tracker.
New repository
To simplify the management of the project, we decided to keep only a single mercurial repository. This repository contains all the developments now underway. It's available at : http://beem-project.com/hg/beem/.

Changement de l'adresse des depots
3 depots sont disponibles actuellement (1 principale et 2 branches de modifications):
- beem qui contient les sources principales du projet dans une version plutot stable
- beem-ui est une branche qui doit contenir les modifications pour l'interface utilisateur (Marseille l'a exige alors voir avec lui pour plus d'infos sur le pourquoi)
- beem-xmpp pareil mais pour les modifications concertant le protocole xmpp et jingle
Les deux branches ont ete creer pour faciliter le travail de l'equipe de developpement. Elles doivent etre utilisees afin de commit des modifications stable (c'est a dire quelque chose qui compile et qui fonctionne). Si vous devez partager une modification qui ne fonctionne pas, creer un ticket dans le tracker patch et envoyer votre patch afin que tout le monde puisse en discuter et participer a son integration.
